The beach stretches just over 1.5 km to Lagos Town and 2.5 km in the direction of Alvor. The accommodation is in an excellent location and has a balcony affording some of the best views over the beach. There is a patio table and four chairs, which make it ideal for al fresco dining.

The apartment, which offers very comfortable accommodation and excellent facilities for guests, is in a secure complex with lift access and entry phone. Tastefully furnished, it has tiled floors throughout, a fully fitted kitchen with its own window and a convenient serving hatch to the dining area of the lounge. Both bedrooms have twin beds and built-in wardrobes. The bathroom has a bath with shower over, WC and bidet. There is parking for guests at the front of the apartment block.

• The Algarve is renowned for its golf courses and there are several within a half hour drive, the Palmares course being a 15 minute walk from the apartment.
  
  For shoppers, the Algarve Shopping Centre with designer shops, food hall and bowling, is a 30 minute car drive away and there is also the new Portimao Retail Park within a 15 minute car journey. Also within a 30 minute drive, are water theme parks and Lagos Zoo.
  
  From Lagos Marina, there are a variety of excursions, including diving, snorkelling, dolphin watching and the grottos.
